Fold against the upright and catch the bar
Design structures, sheaves, cables and counterweights in real centimetres, simulate their mechanics and sit a mannequin with a physical body inside: it tells you, measured, how much travel the station loses and where it runs out of clearance.
Built by a bodybuilder who works in healthcare, because the tool he needed did not exist.

You draw the machine, send it to the welder, and in the workshop you find out there are six millimetres between the hand and the press arm. The mistake is already in steel.
Test travel and clearance with a body inside before the drawing goes to manufacturing.
Measure your floor, lay out the stations and show your client how it will look over a photo of the real place.
Assemble your own station with real parts and exact dimensions, on the tablet you already own.
Seat a 175 cm mannequin with a physical body — 14 joints with human ranges — and the machine stops passing through it. If the station loses travel with someone inside, you see it on screen and not in the workshop: on the sample machine the seat leaves the body 0.6-3.3 cm from the moving assembly, and that is the clearance you have to win back.
Pick the zone and the direction. In the upper body, pushing means extending the elbow while the shoulder flexes: the real gesture of a press. Lower body, hinge, one side or both. Tick lower body and hinge together and you get a deadlift.
With the shoulder at chest height the push is horizontal; with the arms overhead it is vertical. Four starting poses and the four classic movements — chest press, overhead press, row and pulldown — come out of two keys.
A 60 Hz physics engine over real centimetres: hinges mounted as hardware (two leaves and their pin), sliders, welds that fuse parts into a single rigid body, selectorised weight stacks with their pin, and an inextensible cable that runs through the sheaves you place and couples both ends.
1 unit = 1 cm throughout, over a 10 cm grid. 41 parts in the palette — 73 in the library counting the ones that only arrive inside a machine — with 20 materials and 8 standard machines that drop in already assembled. Axis locking, snapping to ends and nodes, and live measurement.
A plain .json holds your design: parts, joints, cables, groups and the mannequin with its pose. Export .glb to carry on in SketchUp, Blender or Nomad. No subscription and no proprietary format. (3D models you import live in the device Library, not inside the .json.)
No. You draw as in a sketching app: pick the part, drop it and drag. The application opens on its Guide, which is a FAQ with pictures, and ships eight complete machines you can take apart to see how they are made.
Yes. It is an installed application; the project lives on your device and autosaves. You only need a connection to buy and download.
The project is a plain-text .json, readable without the application, and you can export the geometry to .glb to open it in SketchUp, Blender or Nomad. If we disappear tomorrow, your design still opens.
That is exactly what it is meant for. There are High/Medium/Low quality presets that adjust render resolution, shadows and reflections.
The 0.x series is included and moves fast: 59 versions logged in the changelog, each with its measurements. You buy at today's price.
No, and it does not try to. They model geometry with manufacturing tolerances. This simulates the cable running through the sheaves you placed, and seats a body with human joint ranges to tell you whether the machine works for it.

When I was a little kid, computers were my entertainment. There I found a tool that seemed wonderful to me: it let you build with blocks, piece by piece, inside a digital world. Real toys never made it to my country — "no shipping outside the US", read the fine print — and that application was free. Building there was possible, affordable and joyful.
Twenty years later I remembered that pastime, but this time because of a need I recognized in myself and in the people around me. I am an amateur bodybuilder and a healthcare professional: I have witnessed, and lived, what sport and physical activity do for a person. And I am the first to admit my privilege, because I had the resources to pursue my passion for training. That is exactly why it worries me to see how neglected and disadvantaged sports participation is in my community and my country: people dying of weakness, of lack of movement, trapped between "I have no space", "I have no time" and "I can't afford it".
EXERSUITE3D was born as an answer. Its first face is the creative tool, available to professional designers, gym owners and even amateur builders: bringing the end consumer into the decision-making, so they are free to meet their need for movement within whatever space, time and budget they have.
Imagine a hub — a marketplace — where you can put together the ideal training space for you, wherever you are today. Imagine offering your clients personalized solutions without investing in obsolete formats; selling and competing with other brands for that niche that is so hard to find. Imagine your design being so good that a brand builds it for you — and for many more — and you remain, forever, a pioneer.
That is the dream. AMST (2026)
The mannequin's joint ranges are not estimates: they were set by someone who works in healthcare, and they get corrected when a pose asks for an angle a body does not have. The ankle allows 20° of dorsiflexion against 50° of plantar flexion, not 45 and 45.
Commercial equipment brands publish their 3D-scanned machines. You try them at true scale in your own room before buying anything: if it doesn't fit, you find out before it leaves the factory.
